With the gates the Jury can decide the length of the inrun. If the chosen inrun length has to be changed during a competition due to the weather conditions, the following jumpers get a deduction or addition of points according to the Gate Compensation rule.

Only in team competitions, it is only possible to change the gate after every group of jumpers.
