Alessandro Pittin fell in training

Alessandro Pittin, who won three times last weekend, fell in training on Tuesday in Predzzo. A wind gust caught him in the air and he couldn't avoid a fall and hit the laning area.

Pittin was taken to a hospital where x-ray images were taken to get more information about the seriousness of the injuries and possible consequences of the fall.

 

According to head coach Fabian Ebenhoch, who announced the results of the medical examinations right after the diagnosis, all the checks no injuries were detected. Pittin suffered a serious bruise and will have to spend the night in the hospital before he can return home again. "What a fall, fortunately nothing serious happened. I hope that I'll recover soon", Pittin told on Twitter.
