COC: Home victory for Klapfer

Local hero Lukas Klapfer won the first Continental Cup competition in Eisenerz ahead of Norwegian Truls Soenstehagen Johansen and his teammate Tobias Kammerlander. The two members of the Austrian training group ! did not travel to the World Cup in Almaty and used their chance at the COC at home instead.

Also three candidates for the Junior World Championships were in the Top 10: Mario Seidl finished sixth, ahead of Franz Josef Rehrl and Youngster David Pommer, who came in tenth. Dominik Dier completed the great results of the hosts as eighth.

 

The second competition in Eisenerz takes place on Sunday, The jumping starts at 10:30 am, the race at 1:30 pm.
