COC: Klapfer wins twice
Also on the second day of competition at the Continental Cup weekend in Eisenerz (AUT), the conditions were perfect. And the signs were a lot better for Lukas Klapfer in the second event, than on the day before. After the jumping he was seventh. Lien Oestein Granbu of Norway was firth, but he could not keep this lead in the race and finished sixth. Norwegian Truls Soenstehagen Johansen started as 29th and moved up to second, just like on the day before.
Lukas Klapfer: "The starting position after the jumping was of course better today. I could really enjoy the race and get a lead of 40 seconds."
Truls Soenstehagen Johansen: "Unfortunately I had a bad jump and was far behind Lukas Klapfer in the race. But I'm very satisfied that I could still finish second today."
Thomas Kjelbotn: "It was a good race for me and also a good jump. It went a lot better than yesterday and I'm very satisfied."
