Matti Runggaldier wins Gold in Erzurum
After the jumping portion at the first Gundersen-competition at the Junior World Championships in Erzurum it didn't seem as if it would be the day of young Italian Mattia Runggaldier. He was 29th and 1:29 minutes back before the 10 km race. With the fastest time of the race and clever tactics Runggaldier could crown a fantastic race for him with winning the Gold medal. Germany's Manuel Faisst and Michael Schuller finished second and third.
